Our prominent waste management company in Arcadia is in search of a skilled Bulldozer/Excavator Operator to aid our dedication to environmental sustainability and community support.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring effective waste management operations and upkeeping our facility. Compensation:$20 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:Efficiently and safely operate and maintain a bulldozer for handling materials at the recycling and disposal site in Arcadia, FL.
Moving waste throughout the landfill.
Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspect equipment for malfunctions to ensure smooth operations
Adhere to safety protocols consistently to maintain a secure work environment and prevent accidents
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively and contribute to the overall success of site operations
Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
Must have reliable transportation to get to work
Knowledge of the proper operation of heavy equipment, as well as safety standards
One year or more of previous experience operating a Dozer
One year Excavator experience
Other heavy equipment experience preferred
Must pass a Pre-employment drug screen and background check
