About Us:

Pluckers is a 34-unit restaurant company based in Texas, with plans to continue growing across the state and beyond. Based in Austin, we've been named Best Restaurant to Work For and ranked in the Top 25 Businesses Overall to Work For by the Austin Business Journal five times.

About the Role:

The mission of the Recruiting Coordinator role is simple: keep every step of the hiring process clear, organized, and moving forward. We're looking for someone who anticipates problems and comes prepared with solutions

Pluckers is growing rapidly, and we are looking for the right person to support our goal of building a strong restaurant management talent pipeline to support that growth. You'll coordinate the complete hiring lifecycle and collaborate with various leaders and departments to constantly improve our recruitment processes.

Our ideal candidate is an organized self-starter, proactive problem-solver, and detail detective. We aim to provide a seamless and professional experience to all candidates who are considering a career at Pluckers. We constantly strive for improvement and look for ways to raise the bar. If you prefer a highly predictable work environment over one that requires ongoing learning, adaptability, and conceptual problem-solving, this role is not the right fit.

What You'll Do:

  • Post and maintain job advertisements across recruiting platforms and ensure job postings remain accurate, competitive, and aligned with operational needs
  • Prepare and distribute recruiting reports to senior leadership
  • Review applications to assess qualifications, availability, and suitability for open positions
  • Preview video interviews and make recommendations to continue moving through the pipeline or passing on candidates
  • Schedule and conduct interviews and offer meetings with internal or external candidates, ensuring assessments, communications, and recommendations are aligned with company standards
  • Ensure candidates have a clear understanding of role expectations, training requirements, and career development opportunities
  • Work closely with Human Resources, Training, and Operations leadership to coordinate pre-employment and onboarding processes
  • Communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with candidates and stakeholders throughout all stages of the hiring process

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and workflow management skills
  • 1+ years of recruiting experience

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Paylocity, or similar recruiting platforms.
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project management and workflow tracking platforms.

Hours & Work Environment:

  • Full-time in office. Monday – Friday normal working hours.
  • This is not a remote position. Must be able to work in-office daily in Austin, TX. Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience
